I am running for the DC State Board of Education because I want to listen, connect people, and get to work.

I believe leadership begins with showing up with a listening ear, a willing heart, and a commitment to do what needs to be done.

As a mother, PTO President at Shirley Chisholm Elementary School, and former Local School Advisory Team Co-Chair, I have had the privilege of serving alongside families, educators, and neighbors who care deeply about our children. I try to lead the way I was raised: with kindness, patience, hard work, and a willingness to help. When there is a problem, I believe in staying with it until we find a way forward.
